Netflix announced this Tuesday (15) that Tom Brady will be roasted in the new comedy special “Greatest Roasts of All Time.” The football player will executive produce the series and will participate in the first episode.

“We can’t wait to burn three-time Super Bowl-losing quarterback Tom Brady, who only went back to the NFL in order to delay this roast,” said Robbie Praw, Netflix Vice President of Stand-up and Comedy Formats. “In all seriousness, it’s a huge thrill to work with the greatest football player of all time on this project. No one’s better at taking hits and still coming out on top, so we know the roast will be a breeze for Brady.
The series is getting in some early roasts, describing Brady as a “sixth round NFL draft pick and avocado ice cream aficionado” and “husband of Gisele Bündchen” in its announcement.
Jeff Ross, known for his performances on roasts for Comedy Central, is also one of the executive producers. NFL fans will have to wait until 2023 to laugh at the quarterback. This isn’t streaming’s first roast comedy series, in 2021 the Jonas, Nick, Kevin and Joe starred in the “Jonas Brothers Family Roast” with their respective wives, the series was hosted by Kenan Thompson.
