This Tuesday (27), Bella Thorne shared a video to update her fans and followers on her mental health.

In her Instagram account, Bella posted a video of herself lying in bed and talked about the subject. “I’m doing a mental health check-in. My mental health is not good. On a scale of one to crying all night, I’m at a 10”, she began the video.

“It’s important to make these videos because when we go on social media, we see all this happiness, amazing looks, hair, makeup and everything. Even making this list is making me more depressed. But I guess what I’m trying to say is it’s okay to be depressed”, continued Thorne.
The actress went on to stress the importance of allowing ourselves to feel emotions. She acknowledged that although the media often portrays perfect lives, no one is perfect, including herself.
“Mental health is important, and often we prioritize everything else in our lives over it, but it eventually catches up with us. So, don’t end up like me. Do the mental health check-ins that are needed before you reach this point”, she captioned the video.
“Remember to make space for your tears and thoughts; they are incredibly important. Life isn’t always perfect – in fact, most of the time, it’s not. And I guess that’s okay too”, concluded Bella.
