“I consider it inevitable in any sport. Max joined our team as a teenager and is now an F1 champion,” emphasized Horner during an interview for the ‘Secrets of Success’ podcast. He added, comparing it to Lewis Hamilton: “I think the same about Lewis, who is now the most successful driver of all time in the series and will have more influence within his team than his teammate because his value to the team is significantly larger.”

The Red Bull leader further highlighted: “It’s a matter of keeping this under control. Certainly, there will be certain privileges granted to your main driver, to your star player.

However, he remains part of a team, with no room for a ‘ prima donna’, as at that point he would become greater than the team. He cannot achieve his goals without the support of the team and without the tools provided for equipment.”
