Nicki Minaj praises Taylor Swift and says she would collaborate with her

This Wednesday (20), Nicki Minaj took to her X account to praise Taylor Swift, after she was named Spotify’s artist of the year.

“The SAG QUEEN TAYLOR DESERVES!!!! PERIOD!!!!! She takes months & years off then comes back with great music & fans who’ll never leave her!!!! The END!!!!!!! I was simply discussing vinyls w/the barbz due to questions they had for me…”, wrote Nicki in the first post.

The rapper also shared that she broke the record for the most “vinyl sales for any female rap album in history.” “That means that retailers had no way of knowing that the vinyls would be in such high demand. Now they do! That’s a marvelous thing!”, Nicki wrote in another post.

“This is a CELEBRATION!!!!! I’m about to thank each & every artist on this album. But!!!! The point is that we have something to aspire to as we watch the SAG QUEEN Taylor & the swifties & Republic Records”, Minaj added. A fan also asked the rapper if she would collaborate with Swift, and she responded “In a heartbeat”. 

As well as being the number one global artist on Spotify, Taylor hits “Anti-Hero” and “Cruel Summer” made the top 10 songs worldwide list. Her album “Lover” also was ranked number seven globally.
