Therefore, according to information, the publication is based on court documents presented in Manhattan this Thursday (21).
In them, the actress would be stating that the singer “unjustly kept” her two daughters in the United States since September 20th.
It is worth remembering that the ex-couple confirmed the divorce rumors at the beginning of the month through posts on social media, after four years of marriage.

The divorced couple’s daughters, aged 3 and 1, are in the singer’s care in New York, United States. In the revealed document, the actress allegedly claims that the children had agreed in December 2022 to “move to England”.
Additionally, according to Page Six, Sophie Turner stated that she found out about her ex-husband’s divorce filing “through the media.”
The actress also alleged that the couple “had an argument” on August 15, on the singer’s 34th birthday, before the Jonas Brothers member filed for divorce in Miami on September 5.
The couple reportedly bought a house in the English countryside in April. Sophie “hesitantly” agreed for her daughters to travel with Joe while he was on tour with the Jonas Brothers, which would have provided more free time for her “Joan” filming schedule. The agreement was “temporary”, says the actress, according to the publication.
