Yesterday (5), Joe Jonas filed for divorce from Sophie Turner. The singer filed a petition for dissolution of marriage in Miami Dade County in Florida, stating that “the marriage between parties is irretrievably broken.”

In the petition, Jonas clarifies that their daughters have been residing with him in Miami and other locations, but says that it has interests of sharing parental responsibility, also indicating that they had a prenuptial agreement.

The rumors of a divorce have been circulating for some time now, with tabloids reporting that it was imminent, while Joe was still spotted wearing his wedding ring during a concert for Jonas Brothers Tour in Austin, Texas.
Joe and Sophie first met in 2016, got engaged the following October and eloped in May 2019, in Las Vegas. They share a daughter, Willa, 3, and another daughter, 13 months, whose name hasn’t been revealed.
