Brooklyn, 23, the eldest son of former football player David Beckham and stylist and Spice Girl Victoria Beckham, decided to take his wife’s last name. In an interview with E!’s Daily Pop, the husband of Nicola Peltz, 27, explained the decision.

“I just thought it was different. Not many guys take their wives’ names“, he said. “So, I was just like, ‘Why not?’ It fit really cool together”, added the young chef, referring to the “Peltz-Beckham” combination, which Nicola also started using.

In the conversation, Brooklyn also shared the advice that her parents, married for more than 20 years, gave her so that her union with the actress of ‘Transformers: Age of Extinction’ is lasting: “Just love each other, try and not worry about anything, keep working and just try and have fun.”
Brooklyn and Nicola were married in April with a lavish ceremony in Palm Beach, in the United States.
