Born in Berkeley, California, Benjamin Géza Affleck-Boldt, better known as Ben Affleck, is an actor, director, screenwriter and producer. He began his acting career in 1984 in the educational series “A Viagem do Mimi”, when he was only twelve years old. It was around this time that he met actor Matt Damon and the two became best friends. Affleck gained fame and recognition for co-writing and acting in Good Will Hunting (1997) alongside Damon. The film won an Oscar and a Golden Globe for Best Original Screenplay.
