Date:

Madonna will win a biopic and several Hollywood actresses were vying for the role of Queen of Pop in theaters. According to Variety, Julia Garner, known for “Inventing Anna” and “Ozark”, was chosen as a favorite among Florence Pugh, Alexa Demie, Odessa Young, Bebe Rexha and Sky Ferreira.

The tests were long and tiring, as the production requires a complete artist, who in addition to acting, sings and dances with mastery. According to a close source, Garner’s team is analyzing the proposal received by Universal Pictures and it should soon be accepted.

Upon her announcement, Madonna said she hoped to “convey the incredible journey that life has taken me on as an artist, a musician, a dancer — a human being, trying to make her way in this world. The focus of this film will always be music.  Music has kept me going and art has kept me alive. There are so many untold and inspiring stories and who better to tell it than me. It’s essential to share the roller coaster ride of my life with my voice and vision”.

In addition to being the central object, Madonna will be director and co-writer. The screenplay is by Donna Langley, while Amy Pascal is attached as producer. Still without an official title, the production also does not have a release date.
